About Me ~

Hi, I'm Alexis.  I am a proud Canadian (who is also about 1/32 Russian)!

The Romanovs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember.  I'm pretty sure that my mom got the book "Anastasia's Album" by Hugh Brewster out of the library when I was little and that's how it started, but I'm not entirely sure. 

My favourite Romanov is... well, it's a tie really.  I like Anastasia, Aleksey, Nicholas, and Olga best.  Then Tatiana, Maria, and Alexandra.  So really, I don't have a top favourite - it's just too hard to decide.  I'm most like Olga - and I think I look a lot like her as well.

My other hobbies and interests include: writing (3 time NaNoWriMo winner!), collecting American Girl Dolls, reading (particularly historical fiction or law books), knitting, Canadian politics, Model UN, Pride and Prejudice, playing piano, and speaking French.

About the site ~

A while back I decided to start working on a website to commemorate them.  This site is the result of that effort.  It's still very much a work in progress, and I unfortunately don't have as much time as I would like for updating.  But I still plan on working on it when I get the chance.
